Long, long ago established that the main cause of weight gain after smoking cessation are, for the most part, not physiological, and psychological reasons. The majority of smokers try to avoid weight gain, make a fatal mistake, reducing to zero all the fine impulses to get rid of bad habits. Try to avoid it, and then you'll really have found an easy way to quit smoking.
Not for sure! Do not start "tomorrow" a whole new life! Do everything in stages, and then you will be much easier to survive the syndrome of failure.
